Jim Galbraith

No words can describe how much of a loss we feel now you have gone.

You were a CEO like no other. You walked the floor from bottom to top, ensuring you spoke to as many people as you could, and of course on occasion I would remind you to get back to work!

The banter, the chat and the laughs with colleagues you clearly enjoyed. You invested the majority of your working life in the organisation and it was visible how much you cared that we did well, and because you cared, we cared.

The office won’t be the same when we get back. You won’t be there to give me into trouble for eating chocolate at 9:30am or getting a can of juice, as it wasn’t deemed healthy!

I am sorry that your ‘team’ never got to win as many matches, since you blamed me for most of their loses (my friend’s husband used to be the club manager). However, in my defence you shouldn’t have supported a not so good team! But when/if they ever win big, we will know it’s been your doing up there.

We will miss you. Rest in peace Jim.
