Nath – the Barbour-wearing Para, adopted by 29 Cdo Regt RA and a true friend to us Allisons.

The welcome greeting of “alright muckers” and height-ist digs were the daily, weekly, and monthly patter between us and we will miss the impromptu catch-ups on the Terrace, often leading to banter and tales of military past.

We have never met anyone with so many pockets in his cargo trousers…who knows what you had in there!!  A man who wasn’t shy of putting in the running miles, but would drip for almost as long as the phys!

Nath recommended and helped us make the move to Turnchapel by showing us around the Davies’ Home – remarkably though, a man that resided a stone’s throw from the sea openly disliked salt water!

We have loved being your neighbour, your friend and your comrade, and will miss you every day.
