I feel very lucky to have worked with Greg over a couple of years (2011-2013). You really couldn’t ask for a better colleague: Greg was, above all, extremely kind, fun, insightful, a patient listener and always ready to help and advise. He had a cracking and notably dry sense of humour, but also knew when to be serious. I learnt a great deal from him, about education and learning technology in particular, but also more broadly about politics and social injustice; Greg always made you think. I was very sad to learn of his loss.
