What fond memories I have of Bernie’s warmth, kindness and humour. He was always happy to chat, and always ready to have a laugh. I loved that he could talk almost anyone round to see the merit in his (sometimes wild!) ideas, and his eagerness to give it a go. An exceptionally sad loss, but he leaves a wonderful legacy.
