Ashok was a force of nature, his enthusiasm ,passion for philanthropy, deep loyalty to the United Kingdom and love for his family were exemplary. He was a good friend to people who knew him and always prepared to help friends in need. Barbara and I had the pleasure of first meeting with him about twenty years ago and I enjoyed the contact we had mainly through the Duke of Edinburgh Award and Barbara and I appreciated his help in planning a Family road trip to Northern India. He was taken too soon and our thoughts are with his wife and family.
