Steve welcomed me into Pioneer on my first day – we met in the lift!  He had a cheeky smile and I thought ‘ahh he seems nice’, and nice he really was.  Steve was so kind and caring, and always willing to help.  We used to chat in the kitchen whilst making coffee.  He would talk about his beloved football team (most of which went over my head!) but then we found some common ground with horse-racing.  

My sincere condolences to Tanya, Michael & Megan, Gill and Dave – thinking of you all at this very sad time. 

Steve – you will be missed by so many people – rest in peace now.
