A few memories of my brother-in-law George. A gentle man with a great sense of humour.
Back in the day I have a vivid memory of bursting into our family front room when you were courting my sister. I was the annoying younger sister who thought it would be great fun to give a full rendition of Cilla Black’s ‘Anyone Who Had a Heart…’ with full gusto. Thankfully in true George Parry style you had a chuckle about it.
Not forgetting the ladders that were placed outside the house to reserve the space for ‘VIP George’ when he went to see his beloved Liverpool team on a Saturday at Anfield.
A caring and loving man to his whole family.
