I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of your passing. Condolences to your family, relatives and friends.

It was more unbelievable as only a few weeks ago you told me about a lovely few days you had had with your son at the coast in Yorkshire.

I shall miss our conversations about the weather and our families which were always a welcome distraction from cars, tyres and windscreens about which your knowledge was second to none and helped me enormously.
