We were shocked and saddened to hear the awful news.  2016/17 was our 1st full season as Clan fans, ST holders and OSC members and were lucky enough to see Mike ice his 1st game in purple.  It was no wonder he soon became a fan favourite both on and off the ice.  He was always a pleasure to talk to at events and it was never a bother for him to have a photo taken with young and older fans alike.  His success as a player both at league and GB level was no surprise.

The antics of wee Boydy, Big Harry and wee Hammy off ice cracked me up, and it was indeed a very special bond/friendship they had.  Thoughts are with all Mike’s family, friends and teamates at this difficult time.

It would, indeed, have been a very exciting season this year to have seen him return to play in purple.
