Ian’s compassion and wisdom has had a profound effect on me personally and professionally. His kindness, diplomacy and care in the handling of all living things never wavered whether in policy group meetings or on a hillside. 
I’m so grateful to have been in his sphere of influence. This image was taken while on a bike ride  (or an “active meeting”!) with Ian, high on the hill above his home. It was an atmospheric day of cloud inversions and water in all its fabulous forms. He helped me see these too.
