Sarah Elizabeth Curr

On first encountering Sarah, I was immediately struck by her quick wit, energy and ability to capture the attention of the vast, noisy mass of students. Sarah’s lectures were stimulating and thought provoking, but perhaps her most memorable performance was her star turn playing a patient’s relative in a clinical simulation video. Her acting skills were impeccable. As a Cohort Leader, Sarah was the backbone of our course. During the pandemic, it was comforting to have Sarah beamed into our homes via MS Teams, answering queries and providing warmth, humour and reassurance. Students would bombard Sarah with questions and she would deftly answer with clarity and empathy. Sarah was dedicated to supporting us and, despite being incredibly busy, was generous with her time. She was a brilliant problem solver and communicator. I shall be eternally grateful for her advice, compassion and encouragement during difficult times. She leaves an indelible imprint on our hearts and minds. My deepest condolences to Sarah’s family and friends.
