Jonathan Nichols

Hey Jonners

You were and will always be remembered as a great  friend to me for more than 30 years. You were an incredibly selfless man who although thought of others first. Your only mission in life was to put a smile on the face of whoever you were with at the time.

There are so many very funny stories I could tell but probably shouldn’t as you really (and finally) grew up to have an awesome career and be an amazing father to father and husband to Kim and the kids.

Even though I moved to Australia more than 15 years ago I never lost contact with you. This was down to your caring nature or maybe a few drinks that one of us would have had as it was always morning for one and late at night for the other. We could talk about all sorts of shit but generally it always came back to the fun times at Bramhope cricket and football. As others had said, when we need someone the most you were the first to call and you’ve been an amazing support to me over the last 5 years which have included many challenges. I hope I managed to give something back over the last 18 months but wish I could have been there with you. To James, Kiim, Ian and Diane I can’t imagine how difficult it is for you at the moment but please be happy in the role you all played helping make Jonathan the great man he was. Although I’m at the other side of the world I’m here for you in any way I can and we’ll catch up soon to share some beautiful memories of Jonathan.

Keep smiling on us all and love you mate.

Kev
