If ever a CAT deserved nine lives it was David.

Whilst David was a relative kitten amongst the Hartford CATS (Cycling and Tea Society), it felt like he had been riding with us for years.

From the start he was a pleasure to ride with and he soon graduated from the Saturday tea and cake ride to the more challenging  ‘bacon and egg bap’ Wednesday outing.

We will miss the low humming noise and his smiling face as he sailed past us up the hills on Sparky 1 and Sparky 2.

A great companion on a number of tours (The Somme, Tarts & Ales, and Beicio Cymru) – we will be organising the Taffy Tour in 2021 to reflect on a life well lived over a few more pints in the sunshine.
