Dearest Fran,

We are still finding it so difficult to think that you are gone, and wish so very much that we were sending you a birthday message and some treats from Betty’s today, or making plans to celebrate with you in the coming days.

You were such a special person, and we will always consider ourselves blessed to have known you and to have shared your friendship over the years. Reading the other messages it is so clear how loved you were, and the warmth and kindness you showed to us was how you treated everyone. You had a way of making people feel at ease, and were so thoughtful, as well as being great company with an incredible sense of humour too. It was such a privilege to have you in our lives, we will miss you so very much, and will always be grateful for the times we spent together.
