Dearest Mummy, my strong memory of you is when you taught me baking. We baked for a year straight. We made fairy cakes (and you bought me a tiny cake tin – just enough for a 1 egg cake) We made peppermint creams, meringues, chocolate cake, the lightest victoria sponge in the world and fudge. Today I remember each recipe off by heart. So much love in your teachings. I love you to the moon and back. xxx
