I did my nurse training with Christine. She inspired me. She was a good person and I was always fascinated by the fact that she had chosen to become a nurse later in life but she was doing it for all the right reasons and that was abundantly clear every day. We lost touch after we qualified but I have thought of her often. In fact, I was sitting having my breakfast this morning in Canada, where I live now, when I thought of her and wondered if she was still living. Sad to see she has gone but she left a legacy, I have no doubt about that.
