I started working for HC-One January 2021 and met Alan whilst supporting on the vaccine mandate.

As soon as I met Alan on teams his lovely smile and kindness made me feel very welcome, from then when I ever I had a HR query or vaccine query Alan was my go to.

Nothing was too much trouble, he was always so helpful!

As our little friendship grew, Alan shared his love for his holiday each year with Keith to see Pride! Well then we really hit it off! I told Alan that back in the day I used to have a Beauty salon in Liverpool where most of my clients were the most fabulous Drag Queens and Pride was part of me!

We had so many giggles in such a short time of knowing each other, whenever I would see an email from Alan or a teams pop up it always made me smile.

I will miss Alan very much, he was a genuine ray of sunshine who brightened up my day.

My love and thoughts are with Keith and Alan’s loved ones at this very sad time.
