Colonel the Reverend Robbie George Russel Hall QGM
Helen, Ben, Jamie, Tom and family
What greater honour that when a man moves forward he leaves behind in each of us the best of what he was.
From a time before even you knew him ……
Those days ….
On cliffs, in caves, on rivers on mountains
Alps, aiguilles, the Jorasses, the Dru
Causey, Cloggy, Scafell, Creagh Dhu
Hoys Old Man – no challenge for the young
Shared food and beer and fear and fun
Parties and girls and places we fought in
A teenage brotherhood never forgotten
I cherish those days but shed few tears now they’re gone
I remember, open my eyes, smile, love and go on.
