We heard about you long before we saw you but then finally 1st December arrived and so did you. Your charm, expertise, drive, hard work, insight, decency and positivity made an instant and enduring impact. As we got to know you better, so we gained as individuals and as a company and it was a pleasure working for and alongside you. Whether it was your face reflecting the sun setting in the Solent or the snow-covered foothills of Zug, meeting with you got the benefit of your wisdom and humour. And you and I had both worked as accountants in Budapest in the early nineties, we had only begun to discuss this.

We are left with a sense of missed opportunity, that you had so much more to give and to do, for your family and friends and for us – your colleagues becoming friends.
