Stephen and I both started at KC on the same day in 1996. Right from the start, Stephen proved a first rate colleague, always willing to go that extras mile, always looking for solutions rather than problems. His enthusiasm and willingness to go that extra mile were evident from Day 1; his cheery optimism lightening many a grey day. I particularly remember his enthusiasm for American Football; watching the SuperBowl in his school flat well into the early hours, complete with hot dogs, popcorn and too many Buds. Yes, and there was school the following morning. My thoughts and condolences are with the whole School community, in particular Ardell and Christopher, at this terribly sad time.
