David McCallum

I first met David when I was a young anaesthesia trainee at the Eastern General, 1996 I believe. I remember him teaching me epidural anaesthesia in obstetrics! I was fortunate to have him as a colleague in the RIE for more than 20 years. He was always very cheery and in good spirits no matter what was happening. Even when I visited him in hospital shortly before he died, he hadn’t lost his sense of humor despite his frailty. He will be sadly missed. I send my sincere condolences to his family and all who mourn him.
