I will always remember spending an evening having a meal with Ewan an Italian restaurant in Lytham St. Annes whilst away on company business. We’d both been exiled to Warton to bring back much needed offload packages of work to supplement the dwindling Hawk engineering work at Brough. He was the life and soul of the party despite being away from his family, but that’s just who and how he was. Not only a good engineer, but a real people person. Someone you could easily talk to that had a good sense of humour. He will always be part of our lives and sorely missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
