Condolences to Anna’s family. I remember meeting Galina Zaitseva for the first time back in 1983 at the conference in Rome. Then I met her again many years later when Anna came up. Galina Zaitseva suggested that I should move to Moscow and contribute to the work with Anna. I once had Anna as an interpreter for me. But in any case, I met Anna and Tatiana five or six times in Russia and Estonia. Once at Moscow City Pedagogical University, and later Moscow State Linguistic University. The couple always has something special together to fight for Russian Sign Language and the deaf community. I remember Anna as a warm person.
