Our Uncle Les,

I have always been very proud to be a part of the Flanagan family, but never more so as I have this year. Uncle Les was a kind, selfless and loving man, and he showed this throughout his courageous battle with Cancer. 

Me, Kirsty and Charlie have some lovely memories with our Uncle Les, we would always get so excited to see him. He had children of his own, but gave us all so much time. If he came to our house, before he left for home he would, kiss us goodnight, tell us how good we had been and leave us a pound coin each at our bedside to buy some sweets. He had so much patience, a brilliant sense of humour and a way of making you feel very special. 

I’m thinking of all of Les’ family, his friends and also his work family.
