Dear Laura, Alex and Joe

On behalf of the whole team at NASUWT Scotland I offer our deepest condolences for your loss. On a personal level, as National Official for Scotland, I worked with Gareth on a number of workstreams over the years since he first came to the NASUWT. His calm and measured approach to everything was a real asset and he could always be relied on for quick supportive chat when the need arose. I do confess that many of our conversations would more often than not veer away from work and centre more on our dogs, but we did still get the job done!

I know how much Gareth will be missed across the whole organisation and just wanted you to know that you and your family are in all of our thoughts at this difficult time.
