Ian was one of the kindest people I have had the privilege to work with.  No matter what the situation, Ian would have a solution or words of advice, always delivered in his trademark unassuming and down to earth style.  Ian was a terrific people manager who treated everyone as an equal, someone who could diffuse the tensest of situations and get the whole room smiling.  Ian is greatly missed by us all.
