Dear Rob and Tash,

I worked at the University of York from 2012 to 2020, in a variety of roles, but most recently as Deputy Registrar and a member of the University Board.  Janet was my HR contact for the whole of that time.  We met every month, without fail, and discussed a whole variety of HR issues.  In the beginning we only talked about work, but as time went on and we became friends, we talked about all sorts of things, and our meetings always overan!  I always enjoyed meeting with Janet, she was patient and kind, gave me good HR advice, and above all, was willing to see the good in people. I am very sorry for your loss, and you are in my thoughts.  With very best wishes
