Dear Helen and family, 

My deepest condolences to you, and to so many others who will miss Robbie dearly. That, in itself, is a testament to how much respect and affection he engendered in those of us who were lucky enough to meet him.

I will remember him as a confident leader with strong vision, faith and a clear sense of purpose. He had a gift for motivating others with his great enthusiasm and energy, and what he has done for Hope can never be over-emphasised. I would be amiss if I didn’t mention that I will never think of Robbie without thinking of ‘Dad jokes’, his positive and uplifting demeanour, and his lovely way of reading verse.

He will surely be sorely missed, but definitely not forgotten.
