Rod was an absolute horror to play against in any sporting event. Highly competitive, mentally strong, and one hell of a winner’s attitude.  Enough of the back-slapping; he was also a dirty bloody cheat.  From illegal late tackles in Rugby to hacking off your limbs with a hockey stick. Nothing was beyond that Tasmanian runt when it came to getting that win. He knew how to put the frighteners in anyone, but he would do so with no malice and always with a mischievous smile on his face. He is one in a million, a legend and a good friend that will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences go out to Rachel, Sam, Emily and extended family. I look forward to seeing you all and sharing some great memories of a most wonderful person. Lots of love, Gozie xx
