Harriet

Harriet was one of the loveliest, kindest people I have ever known. Her smile, positivity and exhuberance lit up the room as soon as she walked in, and within minutes she had everyone smiling and laughing with her!
We had some very special times together both in university and then later at KCC.
At university, we often found ourselves working together to create power point presentations. I still smile at Harriet’s fast paced approach to putting them together, and me trying to slow things down in my usual, methodical way. We often laughed about it. She was incredibly dynamic and capable of producing the most amazing work in a very short space of time.
We worked together for a number of years at KCC and were often in touch to talk about work matters and our lives in general. She was an amazingly skilled OT.
Our time together at the RCOT conference in Brighton was wonderful! Full of so much laughter and fun. We later attended the OT show in a Birmingham, sharing a room over a nearby pub. She was my navigator on the journey and my companion throughout. We had a really fantastic time with non stop chatting for the whole two days!
Harriet was so, so lovely, incredibly kind and caring, a truly one off, special person and I will miss her so very much.
My heart goes out to you all and I’m so deeply sorry for your loss
Sleep well Harriet ❤️
All my love
