As a new tutor I was very aware of Wendy’s tremendous reputation but not being ‘south of the the river’ I didn’t have the opportunity to work with her – very much my misfourtnue given all of these wonderful tributes. On the few occaisons I met her she was warm, welcoming, friendly and fierce (in a good way!), I could tell she had determination and zeal in buckets, which enabled her to lead the way for women (and men!) in the service. My condolences Graham and to the rest of her family, what an amazing woman to have in your lives.
