I first met Freeway in Ballykelly, he was a very charismatic and considerate chap for a squaddie. I looked up to Freeway and we had too many laughter to mention over there together. I ended my time in NI taking over Freeways role as the ‘Chief doorgunner’ 😂. I was a bit of a joker and I’ve always been convinced that Freeway helped me get my promotions over there. We see lots of names on Facebook of people who have sadly passed but Freeway is one that really hit hard even after such a long time. A real gent, someone I still like to call a friend even though I’ve not seen him for nearly 30 Years. Once met never forgotten. Rest in peace Freeway and my condolences to all his family and friends.
