My sincere condolences to Steve’s extended family.

He was a stalwart supporter of the OP Society, extremely knowledgeable about our members and a tremendous communicator.

The Queensland members of the society had the privilege of entertaining him at my home in Brisbane, whilst he was on his Grand Tour of Australia and New Zealand in 1991.

Such was his popularity that we had a 100% turnout.
