Father Stan was literally the first person I met when arriving at StBeunos last year, as he opened the door when I, somewhat confused as first timers are, was trying to find my way. ‘Please, have a coffee ‘ he said, a minute into our acquaintance as he followed me in the coridor. Exactly what I needed after a long Journey.

He was so kind to me, and his kindness made me feel confident to ask some questions about my ability to attend mass at StBeunos, being a lutheran and all. He listened to my questions, smiled warmly and assured me that “we’ve had many lutherans here.” And my problem was resolved. And two beautiful weeks at StBeunos begun. 

Such a kind man. May he rest in peace.
