Rod was one of the most inspirational people I met in my life. From the first day I met him at IDC nearly 15 years ago, I got inspired by this beautiful person full of joy and energy. His passion for everything he got involved with was just contagious. I always found it remarkable how knowledgeable he was about any topic. Always available to help, he kept me on my toes, but he always had kind words of support.

Born on the same day as me and in the same year, we found out a few years later that we were born a few hours apart. I will miss your birthday messages. We will miss you.
