Ian Findlay CBE
We at Public Health Scotland are so sorry to hear the news of Ian’s tragic death and the incredible loss that this brings to his family, friends and co-workers. With colleagues, I have known and worked with Ian for the best part of two decades. His leadership has been pivotal in shaping the way we think about the joy and benefits of walking and wheeling, inspiring many organisations and communities across Scotland. From NHS Health Scotland into Public Health Scotland, our organisations have benefited greatly from our close working relationship with Paths for All, and the impact Ian has had on Scotland’s public health and well-being cannot be underestimated. Our sincere condolences to Ian’s family, his close colleagues at Paths for All and to all that knew him personally and professionally.
