Dear Carole,

We were surprised and saddened to hear of Marks passing. Our hearts go out to you, your family and Marks family.

As neighbours, we met Mark through Carole and he joined our community wholeheartedly. He always had a smile, was easy to chat to and willing to help and advise us with our community development. It was always nice to see his smile peeking out of the windows of his sports car. 

We remember the two of you sitting on the front lawn over the summer as we barbecued. This was him joining the community spirit during these hard times. It was obvious how much of a nice guy he is even in the little time we knew him. 

The news of his passing is especially difficult during this time because how do we take care of each other in the context of not being able to be with each other.

Carole, we want you to know that you are in our thoughts and Mark’s memory lives on through the kindness and joy he showed us.
