Chris Holland
I’m very saddened to hear of Chris’s sudden and untimely death. I first met Chris when he visited Dublin back in the early 2000s, he instantly made an impression. I was junior and relatively new to Mercer and lucky enough to be able to share company with a fantastic group of leaders for dinner. On first meeting Chris was very welcoming, informal and humorous and provided great encouragement.
Thereafter whenever I visited the UK, Chris gave a great welcome. He always had time for colleagues even allowing for all the responsibilities and activities on his plate. Without fail he spoke very fondly of his family, weekend water-sports and we shared an interest in rugby (and Ireland / England rivalry).
He has made a truely massive impact at Mercer and will certainly be missed and at the same time remembered and held in high regard.
Rest in peace
Eoin
