Michaela seemed to be at ease wherever she was – from a cafe in NY (where we first met) to Bengali New Year’s celebrations in the streets of Dhaka. I feel so fortunate that we were all able to spend a few days together in Chania this summer. She was an incredibly generous, thoughtful and fun person.  We used to have such wonderful conversations, about the state of the world, our families, about what books to read, and plays to watch. I will miss her a lot. All my love. Dina
