Chris; really shocked to hear the sad news. 

Last time we spoke you were so positive and as usual, talked all things sport, your family, as well as work.  Despite travelling from both ends of the country, my memories of our working together, in those long days at the HO, are of your calm, quiet approach, in complete contrast to myself.  But having a good laugh about it afterwards, as we usually achieved what we wanted.  You never looked at the subject from a Lancashire view point, always for everyone within NAPFM – there are some people that make work worth it on the dreariest of days—that was you.
