My dearest and beloved parents, oh how I will miss you!

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that did for me during your lives. You taught me amongst many things how to be a decent, thoughtful and kind person. Your unconditional love was always felt.

It will seem strange opening the door to the family home at 134 and not hear your warm Jamaican lilt, and smell the sweet aromas of something delicious being prepared in the kitchen. Seeing your wonderful smiles, Mums slightly shy and Dads mischievous. The warm and comforting hugs and kisses we exchanged on arrival and departure. The funny stories of life in Jamaica that made me laugh until my sides hurt. The exchange of each other’s news and your interest in everything I did or planned to do. I thank you for these and so much more!

Life will never be the same without you both. But I’m so grateful for the wealth of memories you have left behind, I will feast on them for the rest of my life. I love you both so VERY MUCH!
