If memory serves, I first met Lynn at a CII dinner in Perth, 20 odd years ago. Good company and easy to talk to. We both knocked around in commercial underwriting over the years, until we ended up in the same team sitting together on level 4 at Pitheavlis. Well … what a hoot. I remember daily conversations about the weather and how it would impact on Dave’s working day, chats about holidays (particularly Switzerland and trips to the US to see her aunt), motoring (she liked a nice car) and a thousand other things besides. As others have mentioned she knew her stuff, was very professional and was well respected. More importantly, she always had time for you and would go out of her way to help if she could, becoming a “go to” person for many. Can’t believe she has gone, the world was a better place with her in it and as a result, is a poorer place today.
