I never expected to be writing this, but sleep well and please be doing what you do and making mischief wherever you are.

I am smiling at you taking the pair of us accidentally down that black run when skiing, that was so funny. Smiling at the 11 year old Billy smiling and playing pretend guns.

I am proud to have been your Daddy, and proud to say that you were my son. You were so loved Billy, if only you had have seen it. Even people you never got the chance to meet.

We all miss you. Rupert and Sienna too. If you were here now I’d shout at you for what you have done and then hug you! I wish you had never done this. 

I know what I need to do now, and I promise to protect you to the end and ‘I solemnly swear to be up to no good.’

I love you Billy, we all do. I wish you could come back.
