I only knew Brian for a short time during the setting up of the Nightingale but learning of his passing made me feel like I had lost a dear old friend. His knowledge and hard work was instrumental in making the project a success and his talk over supper after a very long day helped make the whole thing much more fun. Hard to believe that he will not be around to see who is first up against the wall come the revolution….
