I spent many very happy years with Rod  at Woodvale. He was the life and sole of MASUAS guiding the students to achieve their best. In addition to being an excellent flying instructor, he willingly organised adventure training, sailing and skiing which were always exciting and character building. Rod, you were a gentleman and  a very good friend – I will never forget you.
