I knew Mark through Carole and I was always struck by his genuine warmth and openness.  He was always interested in others, had a great sense of humour and was a pleasure to be around.  He was a people person, and would put anyone at their ease.  He will be greatly missed and has touched many lives. 

Mark and Carole found happiness with each other, such a lovely hospitable couple, and I have good memories of our times together.
