I first met Ewan at British Aerospace in the 1990s whilst we both studied for our degrees. Throughout the next few years, we became good friends, spending lots of social time together and making many great memories. I’ll never forget the time when Ewan introduced me to kebab pizza whilst on a night out in Hull – a culinary turning point! I even have fond memories of our snowy walk back that night to his house in Hessle from the centre of Hull – in the days when we didn’t wear coats on nights out. I left British Aerospace for a few years, only to return in 2013 to find Ewan to still be that friendly, funny, kind person who would go out of his way to have a chat and a giggle with you, making it even more sad that he’s no longer with us. Ewan, you are sadly missed and fondly remembered.
