Sophia and I have been friends since year 9 which is when I first joined Queen Anne’s. I still remember seeing her the first time in the Maddock sit. She seems to be shy but as soon as we get to know each other more, she is a lovely person. We eventually became roommates which made us closer, I still remember playing music in our rooms and jamming to it almost every night as we finish our prep, it was amazing. She was an incredible person, smart, supportive and funny. When I encounter problems with prep she is always the one who came up on my mind, she is always willing to help. We were only in the same class for maths but we would always be together out-of-school.

It was when COVID came where we are forced to leave school, being apart from each other didn’t make our friendship fall apart, instead we have gotten closer, we would snap each other, that was the time where she became my best friend. Although we have gone through a few arguments, every argument seems to strengthen our friendship. I remember doing face masks almost every week during the weekend and I truly enjoy every moment with her. One of my fondest memories is where I sneaked into her room after lights off, chatting together from one of our favourite korean group (G)-IDLE to our favourite food and sleeping in one bed.

We have made so much memories. Thank you Sophia, you are an amazing person and you will be truly missed ❤️ Sending condolences to her family.
