Dear Jane, Tom and Mary

Brian’s passion for geography and maps was one of the main reasons why I really wanted to work in travel and tourism. At Sibford ( during the mid to late 80s ) Brian inspired and encouraged me and I owe him a huge debt of gratitude for giving me the determination and boldness to seek out, cherish and enjoy a career in tourism that spans nearly 30 years.

Brian was an amazing person who was able to bring geography to life in a way not many people can. I am so glad he taught me – his legacy will be long remembered.
