i am very sad to have been informed of Simon’s passing. i have known him for many years as i was on the Interview Panel for the Borderline Classifer post when Simon was recuited to the team and he impressed me then and even more so when he built up his expertise in the area. He was regared highly both by colleagues and the sector for his specialist knowledge in particular in sports supplements. He was always aware of the need to be impartial and fair but to act in the public interest. He will be a much missed.
